Southern Charm

A love of both Southern elegance and French designer sensibilities came together in one magnificent bedroom suite makeover.

Designed by Shayla Copas, this project held elements of a luxury French hotel visited by the designer and luxury travel expert in combination with the Southern mystique she holds dear.

Truly a southern girl’s retreat, this main bedroom suite resembles the combined elements and elegance of a palatial bed chamber, a designer boutique closet and a global spa bathroom. The nearly 2,000 square foot Main Suite was created as the designer incorporated multiple adjacent rooms, added an elegant fireplace and executed a circular flow.  Entering the suite via custom designed leaded glass double doors, one is introduced to a massive space adorned by antique and retro peach and clear crystal chandeliers.

The coloration theme flows throughout the totally renovated main bed chamber, sitting lounge, closet and bath suite. The custom wall color of light coral was used on multiple walls and the hue also popped up in the Mother of Pearl tile in the bath with complementary 18K- gold electroplated hardware.

Highlights
