Your designer for a day will give you 6 hours to achieve the signature Shayla Copas Interiors.  Designer For A Day makes a smart holiday or birthday gift.

  • Site Meeting with Shayla – Your day will start with an onsite one-hour design meeting and a designer checklist compiled.
  • Shopping with Shayla – Shop with designer Shayla Copas for three hours as she helps to guide you through your design dilemmas.
  • Lunch and Learn – Over an hour long informative lunch with Shayla you will discuss your new finds.
  • Afternoon Shopping – Shayla Copas will continue to shop, guide and provide design council for an hour wrap up.
  • Follow up – After your Designer For A Day is finished a follow-up checklist will arrive with reminders of the decisions made during your fabulous designer for a day adventure.

FULL-SERVICE DESIGN

Shayla Copas and her team will work with you to offer a full-service design, taking the stress out of the design process! First, we will assess the project or projects during a design consult with an intake process that is like none other in the industry! Our all hands on deck full-service design provides you with Shayla Copas and her team, at your service, to create exceptional interiors that reflect you as the client. From start to finish, the Shayla Copas Interiors team designs everything for you, tackling every last detail. As a full-service design client, we offer a vast array of design services to create a unique design that takes the stress out of your project with our white glove service. We are equipped to handle any phase or level of design. Our full-service design program works well with full home projects, groups of rooms or a single installation. Taking care of every last detail, we provide budget management, conceptual design planning, CAD drawings, project management support, finish and fabric selections, furniture selections, procurement of furnishings, delivery, and installation.

New Construction or Renovation Design

We will work with you and your contractor throughout each phase of construction until completion. With this service, we offer specifications for lighting, paint finishes, fixed architectural elements, construction finish selections and other materials regarding construction. The investment for this service consists of a design fee or hourly rates based on the scope of work and size /type of room(s).

  • Planning and Design – A budget, space plan, implementation schedule, finish schedule, selection plan and the construction schedule is created.

DESIGN ON RETAINER

We offer a yearly retainer program that is perfect for the client wanting to tackle several “odds and ends” projects in segments over three months, six months or a year’s time. The more months purchased the larger your hourly discount. A tremendous value over our standard hourly rate!

DESIGN IN A BOOK

Do you love to design your own home or are you long distance but want the Shayla Copas signature on your project? With the Design In A Book e-program, you can have the best of both worlds.

Design In A Book will provide you with everything you need to implement your very own project. A perfect solution if you do not wish for a site visit or if you are a DO IT YOURSELF client wanting to manage your own project yet desiring our signature style. Design In A Book is also the perfect option if you wish to decorate your home one space at a time as it allows you to work at your very own speed. Getting started is easy, and this option may be utilized for Event Design as well.

  • Information – After our chat, provide us with your room measurements, photos, a completed SCI design questionnaire and inspiration images.
  • Design – After receipt and review, we will follow up with another design consult chat to go over your project with you and to get further in tune with your design aesthetic.
  • Arrival of Design In A Book – Before you know it, your very own Shayla Copas Signature Design In A Book will arrive reflecting your design taste and all of the design reference essentials to complete your project. Included in your beautiful design book – fabric swatches, finish samples, shopping checklist, floor plan layout, digital inspiration board, photos of suggested products, a budget, and instructions to implement your project. Shayla Copas Interiors offers a 3-to-5 week turn around on Design In A Book program.

DESIGN A LA CARTE

Are you struggling to put the final touch on one or two elements of a DIY project? We offer our Design A La Carte to help tie up your loose ends. Perfect for clients wishing for a wall-covering specification, paint color suggestion, lighting specification, hardware specification, furniture specification and so forth.Design A La Carte allows you to choose a design category, send us your measurements, inspiration photos and talk to a design professional.Design A La Carte is conveniently web-based and allows you to work with us directly over the phone and through the internet. Shayla Copas Interiors will provide you with three options on every Design A La Carte you purchase.

  • Phone Consult – During a phone consult, we will go over your ideas and thoughts.

DESIGN AN EVENT

We are experts at making your events and parties unique. Our designs range from intimate soirees in your home to large charitable or company events. From 10 – 2,000 or more guests, we have you covered! We address every last detail – color scheme, lighting, linens, invitations, catering suggestions/cuisine, presentation, event décor, party layout, floral inspiration, photo booths, photographers, party favors, party management and so forth.

Do you have clients that only engage you for consultations?
Yes, we have customers that enjoy designing their homes but want our advice. In this case, we work with them on a consultation basis.

Do you design small projects?
We design projects of ALL sizes. We start every project with our consultation. If the client decides to hire Shayla Copas Interiors, the consultation fee is credited toward the project fee. For small projects, we recommend the hourly structure.

Do you provide design help for a DIY junkie?
YES, we DO! Try our Design in a Book program.

What if I only need one idea and do not require a site visit can you help me?
YES, we can HELP. Try our Design A la Carte program, it is e-based and saves money and time.

Do you work hourly or fee based?
It depends entirely upon the project. During our consultation, we can discuss which structure is right for your project.
